I ordered the Rick Steves Silk Neck Wallet and the Rick Steves Silk Money Belt. Both were light-weight,well made and were the perfect size to hold passports, credit cards and tickets. I found that I prefered the money belt. It was very comfortable. There were many times I forgot I was wearing it.

The first time I used this money belt for a trip, the plastic buckle broke before I even left for vacation. cheap construction and a very bad buy. I would never buy another Rick Steeves product again.

This item was perfect to keep my passport and cash. I wore it both under and over my clothes during my trip. I had my passport always handy especially at the airport, and I knew it was safe when I slept on a ferry trip. If your traveling somewhere where its summer, its gets pretty hot and sweaty wearing this pack under your clothes. The cord is pretty long, you have to cut it to fit you, otherwise it will be pretty uncomfortable. The pouch washes easily too.

After browsing online and marching in store aisles, I found this one to be a perfect fit.I bought this from amazon.It has 3 pockets(1 big and 2 small).The big one comes with a plastic casing in it.The belt is big enough for both men and women.When I wore the belt, I found it a bit hard to open and close the zippers.You will need both your hands( for security I guess).After I snap on the belt, the elastic band is way too big for me.I wish they had a loop for that.It can hold 4 passports, a bunch of credit cards and some cash but it does become bulky if you stuff it more than that.Oh I have used this for 3 trips and its still holding up pretty well.

I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this money belt because there were a few bad reviews.... glad I went with my intuition and bought the product anyway. Probably the lightest money belt on the market. Furthermore, because it is made of silk, it absorbs sweat. Now, let's be realistic....you will sweat if you have a money belt tucked inside your pants in the middle of summer (some reviewers complained about sweating). It will get moist or wet, but this product, unlike other ones made of synthetic material such as nylon, will actually absorb the sweat (and how much depends on how much you sweat, which varies from person to person.) Because it is so light it is less obvious under one's clothing than other brands I have used. One of the two pockets comes with a plastic liner which is removable, which helps your money/passport from getting wet from sweat. The belt is very long, but easily cut to fit one's body (don't understand why people were complaining about that; Rick Steves probably designed it that way so that it could be used by people of all waist sizes.) Great product!

I bought Undercover Money Belt for a seven week backpacking trip in Europe. I'm only about a week into it so far, but I have found that even In 80 degree temps it did not get too sweaty, dried quickly, and kept my papers inside dry. I found this to be very comfortable- I often even forgot I was wearing it! I am a very small person and was concerned this be too long and bulky on my frame in comparison to the shorter non-silk belts, but I found it works just fine. The only thing is, if low rise jeans are worn over it, the belt may stick out an inch or half inch, but I course my shirts cover that anyway and I didn't find it to be a problem.
